Peer Review

Our peer review for this assignment was done manually and returned in class therefore it cannot be posted digitally, however, other groups had two major revisions for our group. First, they claimed we required more usage of transitional words and to reduce the extreme tones within our writing. Secondly, they asked that we expand on the statistics that we provided to simplify the experience for the reader. Overall, these comments were helpful.

Reflection

The literature review seemed like one of the most practical assignments we were tasked with alongside the resume and cover letter. For the sciences, the literature review provides a comprehensive overview of a multitude of sources and articles which provides its audience with a working knowledge of a topic and specific reports. Therefore, an audience expects a nuanced and intellectual summary of sources which was an area we had to consider seriously. Additionally, this was the first major assignment of the semester that placed us in peer groups, greatly promoting collaboration and allowing the opportunity to develop team skills. For these reasons, I believe I achieved both Objective 3 and Objective 4.
